No Boundaries Animal Rescue, Inc. is a small, all volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue organization run by Barbara Ziskin Gray and Meagan Nelson. Our main area is Sonoma and Marin Counties, although we often help animals outside our immediate area.  Our mission is simple  - to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home homeless animals that have been abandoned, forgotten or are running out of time at local shelters.

We are "No Boundaries" as we don't limit where or how we get our rescued animals. Whether it be from the streets, a blackberry bush by a creek, inside a cardboard box, from a county shelter or through the network of animal rescues in the area, we have No Boundaries when it comes to an animal in need. Although No Boundaries' current focus is cats and kittens, we occasionally have dogs available.

We are a shelter without walls; all of our animals are cared for in loving, dedicated foster homes, never in cages in shelters. Our animals are given the benefit of being socialized in the safety of our homes, often living with families, children and other pets.   The foster parents know each of the fosters animals as they were their own pets and this allows us to better place each of our animals into a perfect home that fits both the animal and humans alike.

Another key element of No Boundaries Animal Rescue is educating the public primarily about spaying/neutering, as well as other community animal issues.  Check out the links on our website - we have information on low cost spay/neuter, referrals for dealing with feral cats, how to raise an orphaned kitten, why adopting two kittens is better than one and referrals to other local rescues and shelters.
