Our most important task is finding forever homes for our rescued animals. Whenever possible, we appreciate being able to match families to specific animals. We want them to be happy and for you to be happy as well. With all our animals being cared for in the safety of foster homes, we know them better than anyone. Often times, they share the home with other pets, dogs and children.
There are several ways for you to adopt. If you are interested in a specific animal, you're welcome to make an appointment to meet them at their foster homes. We also have mobile adoption events, which will will list on our homepage, Craigslist.org and our Facebook Fan page.
We also work with a few local pet stores who are able to house our kitties for a couple of weeks (or until they are adopted).
You will need to fill out an adoption application and have us review and approve it. Please be aware that although your application may be sent in first for a specific animal, we choose adopters based on qualifying factors and not first come/first serve. We confirm that adopters are allowed to have pets by either having a copy of their lease/contract or by speaking with the landlord.
If you are 65 years or older, we have a policy in place that you must have a co-adopter who is able to sign the adoption application to confirm that they would be able to take the animal in the case that you were not able to care of the animal any longer.
